If you’re interested in finding out more about studying and creating media @ UNSW, this website is a great place to start.
There are many undergraduate and postgraduate degree programs on offer across the two faculties that specialise in media.
The Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences offers a number of programs Media can be studied at UNSW as a major or minor in Media, Culture and Technology within the Bachelor of Arts, or through the Bachelor of Media (Communications and Journalism), Bachelor of Media (Media Production), or the Bachelor of Media (Screen and Sound). There is also an exciting addition to the Bachelor of Media suite coming soon, so stayed tuned for updates!
The School of Media Arts specialises in contemporary mediated arts practices across various technologically based media. All academic staff within the School are artists who conduct practice-based research both nationally and internationally.
The School of Media Arts is committed to contemporary industry and cultural practice from within the degrees of Bachelor of Digital Media and the Bachelor of Fine Arts and offers courses that help prepare students for careers in photography, film and video, sound design, multi-media and internet based technologies.
